You are limited to a single connected monitor, with any extra displays disconnected, and you need a working webcam, microphone, and stable internet.
You must be alone in a quiet, well-lit room, working at a hard surface — beds and couches are not allowed. You verify identity with a non-expired government photo ID plus a face capture, and you may be asked to show all four walls, your desk and underneath it, and your forearms and ears to prove there are no watches or earpieces.
Log into your ProctorU account and run "Test Your Equipment" well before exam day so a failing webcam, mic, or connection does not surface at the worst moment.
Disconnect second screens, clear everything off the desk except what your exam allows, and remove phones from reach. The room must stay private for the whole session.
Keep your face on camera and stay seated. Looking off-screen repeatedly, talking aloud, leaving the room, or letting someone else enter can all be flagged for review.
