Two ways to sit the exam through Pearson VUE — and what to expect on test day
You register through Trailhead Academy, run Pearson VUE's OnVUE system check, and sit the exam from a private room. A live remote proctor monitors via webcam after an ID check and 360-degree room scan. You need a quiet space, a stable connection, and a clear desk — most candidates choose this option.
You sit the exam in person at a Pearson VUE testing center. Staff verify your government-issued photo ID, store your belongings, and supply the workstation. This is the better choice if your home internet or environment can't reliably meet the online proctoring requirements.
