Candidates dropped straight into a shell on a running distribution and solved problems exactly as they would on the job. Weights reflect the Linux Foundation's final published LFCE domains and competencies (effective June 2018, in force until retirement). Because System Design & Deployment alone was a quarter of the exam, deep engineering ability mattered far more than memorizing individual commands.
