The 100–900 scale is weighted, not a flat percentage, so harder questions and performance-based tasks count for more. There is no per-domain pass requirement — a strong total carries you, but the PBQs are where many candidates lose the points that separate a 715 from a 720.

Two ways to sit Linux+ — and what to expect on test day
You sit Linux+ in a quiet, monitored room at a Pearson VUE center. Staff verify your government-issued ID, store your belongings, and provide a workstation. No notes or personal devices are allowed in the room.
You take Linux+ from a private room at home through Pearson VUE's OnVUE platform, monitored by a live online proctor. You'll run a system test in advance and complete an ID check and webcam room scan before the exam unlocks.
