100 to 150 items, multiple choice and advanced item types, per the ISC2 exam outline. The exam adapts to your answers and ends when it is confident.
The scale is not a percentage. ISC2 does not publish the raw-item-to-score conversion, so nobody can honestly promise a specific scaled result.
From Security and Risk Management at 16% to Software Development Security at 10%. Preparation should follow the weights, not chapter order.
Cumulative paid work in two or more domains, with a possible one-year waiver. The exam pass and the credential are two separate milestones.
What the CISSP Actually Tests
The current CISSP is a Computerized Adaptive Test: 3 hours, 100 to 150 items, passing at 700 out of 1000, delivered at Pearson VUE test centers and ISC2 Authorized PPCs. Because it is adaptive, early answers shape the difficulty of everything that follows, and because there is no going back, pacing discipline is a scored skill in practice.
The eight domains carry published weights: Security and Risk Management 16%, Asset Security 10%, Security Architecture and Engineering 13%, Communication and Network Security 13%, Identity and Access Management 13%, Security Assessment and Testing 12%, Security Operations 13%, and Software Development Security 10%. A plan that ignores those weights studies the wrong exam.
The CISSP also tests judgment more than recall. Many items ask what a security leader would do first or what matters most in a scenario, which is why experienced practitioners can fail it while strong memorizers pass practice tests and then struggle.
Pearson VUE Center or ISC2 Authorized PPC
CISSP sittings run at Pearson VUE test centers and select ISC2 Authorized PPCs, with photo ID verification either way. There is no at-home CISSP option — plan travel and check-in time as part of the appointment.
Chinese-language CISSP exams are available only in select appointment windows (March, June, September, December), which matters if your timeline depends on a non-English sitting. English and the other published languages run on normal availability.
AI Security Now Runs Through the Whole CISSP Outline
One change worth knowing before you sit: ISC2's current CISSP exam outline page — the outline effective April 15, 2024, still the live version as of 21 August 2026 — now spells out how AI security is integrated across all eight domains rather than sitting in a single elective topic.
The integration is concrete: secure enclaves and input validation against prompt injection in Security Architecture and Engineering; zero-trust isolation of AI training environments in Communication and Network Security; identity management for AI agents under least privilege in IAM; red-teaming model robustness in Security Assessment and Testing; AI-assisted alert correlation and model-drift monitoring in Security Operations; and the risks of AI-generated code inside the SDLC in Software Development Security.
Practical consequence: a candidate whose prep predates this framing will meet AI-flavored scenario stems inside every domain, not as a separate section. The eight domain weights themselves are unchanged — Security and Risk Management at 16% down to Asset Security and Software Development Security at 10% each.
Where CISSP Attempts Go Wrong
Most failed attempts trace to three predictable causes, and none of them are intelligence.
- •Studying unweighted: reading all eight domains evenly instead of triaging by the published weights and personal diagnostic gaps.
- •CAT pacing collapse: agonizing over single items until the clock compresses the back half of the exam, in a format with no return.
- •Experience mismatch: sitting CISSP before the role context exists, so scenario judgment items answer from theory instead of practice.
- •Stale outline: preparing from an old domain list or retired question styles instead of the current outline.
How Take-My-CISSP Support Actually Works
Send your CISSP brief
Message us on Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord with your experience level, your testing window, prior attempts, and the deadline behind the credential.
Get an honest feasibility read
The request is reviewed privately, so you know whether the timeline, the format, and the sitting are realistic before the fee moves.
The sitting is handled end to end
Exam Assist handles the sitting. You do not spend the window studying the wrong domains or rehearsing the wrong format.
Pay only after the pass posts
The service fee is due only after the agreed result posts. That is billing, not a score guarantee.
What You Get
Format-matched planning
Built around the current CAT outline: adaptive pacing, no-return discipline, and the eight published domain weights.
Honest feasibility first
If the window or the sitting is not realistic, you hear that before anything starts — not after a failed attempt.
End-to-end sitting support
The sitting is handled for you, privately coordinated through the channel you already use.
Pay-after-pass billing
The service fee is due only after the agreed result posts. Official ISC2 fees stay on your card.
Discretion by default
Private 1:1 coordination on Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord. No shared dashboards, no public case studies.
Adjacent-credential routing
If CC or Security+ fits your role better than CISSP, the intake says so before you spend the fee.
Safety and Discretion
Coordination stays private on WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord. We do not ask for your ISC2 account password, and we never reuse identity documents. Official exam fees stay on your card or voucher; the service fee settles only after the agreed result posts.
One boundary stated plainly: we do not promise a specific scaled score, because the 700-of-1000 conversion is not published. We promise the fee follows the result, never precedes it.
Pay After You Pass
ISC2 charges its own exam fee at registration, and that fee is yours. Our side is simple: the service fee is due only after the agreed pass posts. If the result does not post, the service fee does not move. Settlement is flexible and private, confirmed through the same channel the coordination ran on.
Candidate Feedback
Fifteen years in security and the CAT pacing was still the threat. They planned the sitting around the format, not a reading list, and the pass posted first attempt.
The honest feasibility read saved me a wasted window. They told me which parts of my plan were fantasy before the fee moved, and the sitting went exactly as scoped.
My employer listed the CISSP as a condition of the role with a fixed date. The end-to-end handling and pay-after-pass billing made a hard deadline survivable.
